I do watch this programme although it gets sillier each episode, did I miss something as I do not recall 'Liz Macdonald' ever getting a divorce from (so it is) Jim. Or are they planning an episode where she is charged with bigamy. That would be a new story line. Do they employ continuity people on these programmes? Why do they persist in calling it 'Corrie' it's as daft as sarnie for sandwich.

They've changed Tyrone into such a self-righteous grump. Bring back the old Ty and Molly and let's see Jack be happy with his new lady. What a good opportunity to bring a little joy into the world. Jack is such a lovely man.

Kevin was trying to be the sensible one, and see all the pitfalls, but Molly kept trying to kiss him, and he was turning away......... How cringeworthy is that. !!!

Yes she has turned from the nice girl-next-door to a minx.

But don't you all remember how she was when she first arrived? She was a horrible schemer, was extremely nasty to Fizz and stole her boyfriend. Her reason for that, she said, was that Fizz had bullied her many years ago (at school). Well, Molly turned out to be a far worse bully!Pirate
Then Corrie did the usual Soap thing and turned her from a baddie to a goodie, so she is just maybe reverting to her old character. Never took to her anyway, as I never forget how they were at first.
I have taken to Tony though.Happy

Maria has her baby on Friday night, and Sammia (who plays her) is pregnant in real life.......Thats 10 pregnancies in the cast of Corrie in the last 18 months. Carla is just coming back from maternity leave.

Could someone explain to me why there was a pink balloon with girl written on it in the post natal room where Maria was having visitors tonight. I must have missed the reason given for it.

Thank goodness the baby is here now, I was getting as bored as Maria.

Rant now. When are we going to see Tony get whats coming to him?Not sure or are the writers keeping him in Corrie because he is a good actor. The story line is quite unbelievable. As if a nine months pregnant mother would go for a walk on a lonely beach a long way from help. And then to give birth in a very convenient hut. It smacks of Catherine Cookson don't you think?

Come on, come on, be fair. In amidst all that grunting there was a glimpse of Norris and his wonderful facial expressions. Also there was the drama of ' will Kevin get the door open in time'. So though another dreary week all is not lost.

I have to say I think they did the birth quite well - hand held close up cameras worked but of course the real storyline is just unbelieveable - a walk on a beach miles from anywhere with no mobile signal at first - what a risk to take.

I thought Molly and Kevin had seen sense but NO they are worse than ever with Kevin rampantly showing his hairy chest before Sally told him to put it away!!! Ugh he is no hearthrob - please pass the sick bag!

Because Sammia is pregnant in real life they told her that she should not push too hard, as it could damage" her "baby, but she certainly made a fair job of it.

Incidentally, did anyone notice that the baby was delivered feet first ? But it was really very good the way they did it. that was a new-born baby !!Wink

A true miracle baby - there was no cord for Tony to cut.

I suppose the more Tony's character changes the more effective it'll be when Carla comes back.

But please let Molly and Kevin forget this affair.

I stopped watching Corrie when the Molly and Kevin started but I was tempted back to watch the birth. Very well played but as for M+K? a total farce Stanza.

I'm so glad that I am not the only one to find the Molly/Kevin thing totally unbelievable.

I spend the whole time that they are on chuntering at the TV.

Find K and M story ridiculous. Wish they'd write the Windass family out, they are hopeless although the mother is not too bad.......Lilflo

Even if Molly and Kevin were attracted to each other they would hardly risk both their marriages at this point by liaising in her own house when Tyrone could walk in any time. And he did!
