My father's first cousin, Mary Jane Catherine Evans married (1901) Charles Robert Cason b. 1873 Langham, Essex. His grandfather William was born in Langham in 1811, his father also in Langham in 1843. Whether there was any Norfolk connection I am afraid I don't know.

Hi Carol
My Husbands Aunt Jessie Brookes from Fulham, married a James Hare of Shorditch born around 1900-1906, he had his own small London Taxi firm, we are still in the process of finding more about the Hares, we keep in touch with his four granchildren. maybe of no help but you never know.

Looking for any info on a Claudia COOPER who married an Ernest SNELL and had a baby called ANNIE in August 1910 at Myrtle Rd., Brentford, Acton Midsex. Apart from Birth Cert of Annie and Annie's Marriage Cert in 1932 which stated her father was a Chaufeur, I can find no Marriage Cert for Claudia & Ernest nor death certificates for either of them. Annie, at 97 is still living, but cannot remember anything as she was`adopted at the age af about 12. It has been suggested that her mother may have gone (or returned?) to USA. Annie went to live in Hampshire. Any info would be more than welcome.

I am new to this group so just learning the ropes!
I am researching surnames all in Scotland.
My ancestors all seemed to come from the Lothians and Borders areas and the names are:
Bell, Borthwick, Bruce, Crawford, Hamilton, Hogg, Meek, White and Wilson. I have managed to get back to the 1700 with most of them but would love to hear from anyone researching these names.
