Very cold and grey here too. It snowed hard early this morning - so I'm told, it was before I surfaced!! I do hope the snow keeps away as the builder is hoping to finish by Wednesday for the roofer to come on Thursday.
I did go out for coffee this morning - still dont feel right but do feel better than I did. I think I have sussed out some of the problem and that can be sorted.
I hope Pauline is now on the mend and we have good news from Mary later.
Mish - you are a real inspiration. I need to get off my backside and get walking. Keep at it.
Jean - like the new avatar.
Tony - yes it's scary. I think that was part of my problem last week. Living on your own is a whole new ball game in so many ways.

Well they tell me it snowed hard here this morning while I was still sleeping. Its been trying to snow on and off all day and has now managed it, good and proper! Not laying tho as yet!!! But the local forecast is a weather warning for heavy snow in East Sussex for Thursday/Friday, and I'm expecting the next one to name my road, as its getting awfully close!!! lol Had lots of pms today so have been busy trying to answer them all. Hope I did'nt miss anyone out, if so, I apologise!
I wonder if there is any news of Pauline?? Do hope we hear something good soon And my friend Vpl goes into hospital tomorrow, well unless they cancel at the last moment, so please spare some prayers for her op on Wednesday. Sue, hang in there girl, we shall have a ball when u get here,and I will get some more Baileys in,ready! Am so looking forward to your visit next week! Bye for now,(((hugs))) Dee x  |

I'm hanging in and looking forward to my visit too. There seems to be so much illness around at the moment - I think that's adding to my "malaise". A lady I used to work with has got cancer badly and her partner went out in their car last week and had a heart attack at the wheel. He was dead before he got to hospital. I seem to be surrounded by it at the moment and it sounds as if all on this thread are too - maybe it's because we're getting older.
Still onwards and upwards - makes me want to cram as much as I can into every day. A glass of wine is calling me...................!!
We have had more snow this evening but it's not settling yet - I hope it doesnt.

Hope the day has been as good as possible with all the doom and gloom we all seem to have around us.

Good evening all. Pauline says thank you for your lovely texts but says hope you don't mind if she doesn't answer right away but is feeling rather poorly tonight. She did fancy some soup and icecream but now doesn't feel at all well so now seems frightened to eat. I think she needs lot of encouraging hugs this evening.

Hi everyone not that long back from Norfolk. Mrs very, very Happy - the dentist was able to glue my tooth back in WOOPEEEE!!!! Boy it was cold and snowy and sleety - but on the way back down South coming along the A21 quite a lot of snow on the verges. My dustbin has a layer on it..... Hmmmm it can go away. Had some retail thereapy with Janice which was fun.
So sorry to hear Pauline is still not feeling well - do give her a big hug from me. Hope you are all keeping warm and snug. {{{{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}}}} Shirley xx

Good morning all - brrrrrrrrr it is cold. Have a faint dusting of snow on the front kitchen roof. oh my goodness not again. Well at least I am well stocked up with cat food and have plenty in the freezer etc. Will make a brew of vegetable soup to keep me going for lunch.
Good luck at the dentist Sally - so good to have my tooth back in.

Good morning. Quite bright here, though we have a dusting of snow which is disappearing quickly thank goodness.

Very cold though..

Good morning all.Just spoken to Pauline. She sends you all her love and ((((((((((HUGS))))))))) she was sitting in the chair because they haven't made the bed and are busy busy . She is much the same.and is feeling very down as you can imagine. I think if you can afford Private Health Insurance do!!!!
It is cold here but no snow.
