Best car with room to store a wheelchair

I am just able to store a wheelchair behind the passenger seat in my 3 door corsa. I am shortly going to have to change as it's a bit clapped out now, and was wondering what is a good car for storing a folded wheelchair. Unfortunately I am on a limited budget so obvious cars like people carriers are off the price range.

I don't use a wheelchair at all but I know for a fact that the car I drive would be ample big enough for one...I drive a Ford Fusion 2 1.4 which is slightly bigger than a Ford Fiesta & is really economical to run & also not overpriced...It's not a people carrier but a very versatile car....if you go onto Which Car? website you will get a full speck of the vehicle....good luck...

Citroen Xsara Picasso ..... dirt cheap ... even new ..yes you can still get them new.

Good diesel engine..flat floor .. removable seats... easy access
