I tried it January to March this year and was amazed by the climate. Four days out of five I was able to spend some time around the pool soaking up the sun. I'm hoping to find an easygoing housemate, probably female, to share a repeat of the experience in January to March 2010. More details on my profile. Anyone interested?

Unfortunately I am older than you and not so active as you seem to be although I share some of your interests. Coincidentally I am also planning to "go south" in my motorhome this coming winter and had thought of going into Spain but your post has made me think again. I much prefer France (as I speak the language) and if the weather could be that good again I would be very tempted. It would also save me a lot of diesel! Hope you find someone soon.
