My video/dvd player is misbehaving. I can get sound on my tv but no picture and although I've pressed every button and sworn a lot I've had no luck. Any ideas peeps? Must say it's only just started to play up and it only cost £99.00 in the first place but I expected more loyalty.

Does it have a setup menu where you can choose your TV format etc. I have a DVD player that sometimes has a mind of it's own and I have to reset it back to the PAL system. I also found that my other DVD player, even though it is not all that old will not always play the DVD as the format is unsuitable, but I do get the sound without a picture occasionally.
