I like to reheat pastry stuff from the supermarket. Trouble is my oven takes 15 min to get up to 180 and at 7KW uses a lot of juice.

I wonder if I put a trivet in my glass lidded multi cooker if this would be a good reheating device. Cherry pies Meat pies an all that malarkey. My multi runs on 1300watts at full tilt and heats instantly so better option than my oven

I await the views and opinions of the assembled multitude with the usual awe and marvel.

Philboy

if you really like to eat malarkey, I'm afraid that your cherry and meat pies could turn out to be soggy malarkey if you tried this but I could be wrong you know, so why dont you just try it ? and see ?

If you like malarkey thats crisp, well, you could invest in a microwave which incorporates a grill, which could brown and crisp, but dont hold up your hopes

Get down to Greggs I say !

( or stick to salads but DONT put it in your multi )

what do others think ? mmm
