Romance......what does it mean to you?

Do we all have different expectations regarding romance?

What do you find romantic?

What is the most romantic moment you have shared?

Has realism replaced romance as you have grown older?

Is it just Sex or making Love ?

Two bodies mingling ...The height of pleasure is their Goal .
If they reach it together ...It touches deep inside their soul .
That lovely sensual feeling ..when two Souls are joined as One .
Both entwined to reach the Peak ...The satisfaction when its done .
No other feeling can ever compare
It is why we are Human ..It is why we are Here .

The greatest thing you'll ever learn Is to love and be loved in return. Big cheesy grin

Hope my poem puts a smile on your face .....Called Passion In The Later Years

You Gently reach out to touch my Breast .
Iquickly Take off my Thermal Vest.
You work your way down to gently Lick us .
OOps I forgot my Thermal knickers.
Now you have me all moist and Damp.
You Lovingly Whisper ....Hang ON I have Cramp .
The only Thing that Rises now ...Is My Hopes .
So dont lets bother ...Just Watch The Soaps .

Sorry Ladies I just thought it would make you laugh....please forgive this silly woman (yes I am female ) any future ones I post I promise to make them as romantic as my other post .

Please forgive this silly Duv .
Since losing my husband I have no one to Love .
No one to cuddle and hold me tight .
No one to kiss me and keep me warm at night .

Duvtail... I agree your last rhyme was very different to others you have posted........ on a different part of the zone things went a little OTT and this was posted......

Over the top?, it's so easy to do,
i've done it myself, others have too,
there's a courtesy code that runs on here,
it goes "Sorry about that, my fault, i fear"
it just keeps the place tidy, i think, don't you?......

I look forward to reading your future posts/rhymes .......Jan Happy

I think if we have manners
Instead of in "In the work" spanners
We would think before we speak
But that might be too meak
Instead we go off our trollies
And then we must say"Solly"
It did not quite ryme
This time.Crying

Romance is loving and sharing and giving
and to have fun,and enjoy, and being forgiving
and never to argue, and never to shout
because being romantic is what life is about
A smile for each other and just holding a hand
and when you find that ,then life can be grand
just two loving people enjoying their life
and for me,being happy with a wonderful wife
We just keep loving each other, and will always be there
for our children and grandkids, and their love to share
for they all love us in a wonderful way
and we know our love, will be always to stay
and as we both grow older, and share love that is there
still in love with romance, such a nice thing to share
and in our small home,at night all alone
just me and my Val,then the ring of that phone
A daughter rings and askes dad,are you all alone
can you babysit dad,for we want to go out
of course we will daughter, thats what life is about
life is sharing and caring and just being there
and romatic ,as always, in so many ways

Love is not minding him seeing your bunions.
Love is giving his shoes a polish without him knowing.
It’s finishing off each other’s sentences,
It’s the sudden “do you remember?” moments that nobody else understands,
The sudden surge of anger if someone else criticises your partner,
The sureness to do so yourself, but to their face – and to know they won’t mind.
Love is still walking hand in hand, picking fluff off his jacket,
Noticing when he looks tired or fed up, and worrying about it.
Love is the small trip of the heart when you spot him at the station,
The way he holds his head, that little thing he does with his hair.
It’s the knowledge that life without him would be unthinkable,
Unliveable.
And knowing that he feels the same.

Just been looking at cottage holidays this summer. All we seek is a romantic small cotttage with a nice view and maybe a log fire to sit and look at.We found one last year at Robin Hoods Bay which was nice for both of us.But today,we have been round a holiday park in the rain looking at chalets to book a week where our grandchildren can come and stay with us for a night or two.
Maybe not romantic, but romantic when they have gone and just us two that have enjoyed their smiles and fun on the beach and together in front of a mock log fire, and still being happy together with romance in many happy ways
