Bubblybabe have you seen the collection in Swansea's Glyn Vivian Museum? If you havn't then they have got all the things you are interested in. I was last there about 2 years ago but I assume it is all still there.

I bought a " Cow Creamer " ( not genuine Swansea unfortunately ) at Camarthen antiques fair a few years ago. I expect you go to that as your profile says Camarthenshire?

PHILIP,

THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTERESTING REPLY. I MUST GET TO THE GLYN VIVIAN MUSEUM AS I HAVE NEVER BEEN THERE.

I TRY NOT GOING TOO OFTEN TO THE CARMARTHEN ANTIQUES FAIR AS I ALWAYS GO FAR OVER MY BUDGET !!!!!!!

I SOLD A LOT OF VICTORIAN DRESSES, HATS AND EVENING BAGS THROUGH A DEALER I MET AT THE CARMARTHEN FAIR - SHE CAME TO VISIT ME AND I GOT A GOOD PRICE AFTER A LOT OF HAGGLING.

I BET YOUR COW CREAMER IS LOVELY - I HAVE NOT GOT ONE.

I MUST DECLUTTER AS IN APRIL I HAVE BUILDERS ARRIVING.

THERE IS ALSO A GOOD ANTIQUE DEALERSHIP IN CARMARTHEN CALLED PETER FRANCIS,
THEY HAVE SALES EVERY FEW MONTHS AND HAVE APPEARED ON BARGAIN HUNTER.

MY SON RECENTLY SOLD A BSA GOLD STAR BICYCLE THAT HE INHERITED MY FATHER ON E BAY. THERE WAS A GOOD DEAL OF INTEREST, ONE PERSON WANTED IT SHIPPED TO ITALY, ANOTHER TO COVENTRY. AS MY SON SAID CASH ONLY AND BUYER COLLECTS IT WAS EVENTUALLY SOLD TO A MAN WHO DROVE UP FROM SOMERSET.

HOPE YOU ARE KEEPING WARM IN THIS FREEZING - THE WIND TODAY IS DREADFUL.

REGARDS

PAT

Thanks Bubblybabe - I've long been meaning to go to an auction at Francis but have never go round to it. Perhaps I'll look out for one in the Summer.

PHILIP

I ENJOY THE PETER FRANCIS AUCTIONS. THEY ALSO HAVE A WEBSITE AND YOU CAN NOW BID ONLINE. THE SALE BROCHURES CAN ALSO BE POSTED TO YOU.

I HOPE YOU GET TO VISIT IN THE SUMMER AS THEY HAVE EXCELLENT SALES - BUT NOTHING BEATS THE ATMOSPHERE WHEN YOU ARE THERE.

GOOD ANTIQUE HUNTING.

REGARDS

PAT
