Good evening all.
Sorry to hear about your neighbour Lindy. Didn't you come down with a chest infection last time you went to London Bollie? There's an ice cream shop, halfway between here and Skegness which has home made ice cream. If I'm ever down that way my friend and I pop in. ![]() Why have you gone off flying Brenda? Hope you can get your marmalade to set Tigger. I'm better at papering than painting Shazy. Shouldn't take as long to get your bathroom done Margaret. Too nasty a night to go out Pat. What sort of tv recorder do you have Jeff, disc or what? My eldest is hopeless at skiing Mykle, but ok snowboarding. Maybe you should try that. Mind you, saying that, she came off one two years ago and fractured her wrist. ![]() |

Sorry to say this V but yes you are right, could be just one of the hazards of travelling on the packed underground, as cannot recall anyone at the meet having a cold. Am going off for a short while as neighbour from across the road has called in. |

V flying is just not a exciting as it used to be, I find it so stressful now, airports are a nightmare and all the security stuff puts me on edge. It's all push and shove now, even hotels are not comfortable any more. I'm happy at home and love the caravan. I have been everywhere I wanted to go so just happy to potter around now. I am doing lots of things that I have had in mind to do for many years so I am sitting still now.
Bollie there are loads of colds about so take care. |

You look after yourself Bollie.
I hate the airport bit as well Brenda. Still a few places I'd like to go, but would have to win the lottery to do that. Lots of places in this country I've never seen either. |

Hi - Mrs Sniff here
![]() You're right -there are loads of colds about, but mines the worst one ![]() ![]() ![]() It is improving though. Sounds like you had a good day Brenda. Keep well rested Bollie, you might just avoid the hospital yet. Sorry, I'm turning down the opportunity of a visit to Spain too Tigger. I can't motivate myself to decorate the house I've got. 2012 has got to be the year of the Paintbrush. Anyone know how you get a TV programme to do it whilst my back is turned? |

Back again, neighbour thought it odd that my car was about more than usual as I'm always out, we are not being nosey but things are not right, so can we help you in any way with shopping, or even cooking you a meal etc, told her that Daughters had it all in hand, and that her offer was very much appreciated. Her Hubby is one of our local vicars, and as she pointed out I, along with 6 other neighbours who have been here for over 38 years, so we get to know each other very well. Will be going off to bed very shortly, just got a bit of washing up to do, have eaten my first full meal since Sunday, so maybe things are looking up. |

Hi Bollie it must be nice to be popular but its also nice that your neighbour noticed that your car was there more than usual and also to offer her help.

Hi all, back again for a quick loiter before beddy-byes.
Hi Mary, those grandchildren keep you busy. Lucky you ![]() I'd never say it to my lads face-to-face, but as Johnnie Walker says on the radio, I wish they'd Get a Move On The Diamond Queen was very good, and will have done much to stir people into Jubilee Mode. I really enjoyed all the old footage - not just history, but social history too. And definitely history of the Millinery Industry ![]() Hope you get a good nights sleep Marg. And you Bollie ![]() |

Good evening maroula. Gets a bit quiet at this time of night on here. I am not going to bed yet as just cast on a few stitches. I've had a good day thanks. You have just reminded me I put the kettle on 10 mins ago, well I thought I had.
Good night Marg. |
